Concrete Jungle Where Dreams Are Made Of
Finally, finally, finally (Cece Peniston voice) I have booked a trip to New York. It’s been ages (approximately 1 year) since I’ve been to New York, and I cannot wait! Even though I’m a Los Angeles native (2 Live and Die in L.A. 4 Life), New York still reigns as one of the loveliest, most eclectic, most amazing places I have ever been to-and I know, “it’s just New York”; but I seriously love that city.
The energy of New York invigorates me: I look up at the buildings and stare at Central Park and all the gorgeous people walking the street-and I admit, the “streets will make you feel brand new, bright lights will inspire you.” And that’s New York for me; I always come back to L.A. excited and reinvigorated.
Plus, I feel this kinship with people there (they are more my steez [shhhhh don’t tell peeps in L.A.]). Also, some of my best friends in the WORLD live in New York, so it’s going to be one big, happy reunion. And I’m going to go shopping and eat good food and get wasted like errry single day and I won’t have to do anything but giggle and hop in a cab! And it can’t come sooner: I will be in New York from Feb. 9th-Feb. 13th, so if we are TUMBLR friends-hit me up and I will let you know where to find me!
