Oh Hey, I'm Edward. Once upon a time: a bisexual, former-heroin-addict-hipster told me that I was "kinda fabulous," so this blog is about the reality and struggle of being "kindafabulous" (as well as "BEAUTIFUL, BLACK, PRECIOUS, AND COMPLICATED").

On Saturday, Molly and I drove down to San Diego to pick up Seana (Molly’s Mum)-who flew in from Boston for a convention (she even squeezed in a 5k that very Saturday morning [like a boss]). I can’t tell you guys how much I love, adore, and value Seana as a human being-she is just the loveliest, kindest, most charming female without pretense or folly; and her sweet spirit absolutely radiates and kisses every person she comes into contact with, and I was one of the lucky beneficiaries this weekend.

Spending a day with Seana is like finding out you won the lottery-she brings forth so much happiness and fun and joie de vivre . After indulging in a delicious dinner at Lucques (we saw Larry David and I screamed so loud!), we went to Sur Lounge to sip on cucumber cocktails and champagne (and to possibly peep out Lisa Vanderpump), and then we took Seana to the Abbey-where we danced and laughed and just had a really gay old time in all senses of the word.

On the way home, Seana and I sat in the backseat and watched clips of Ja’mie King being snarky (we told Molly to buy a “one way ticket to China” a few hundred times), and once we got home-we watched more Chris Lilley and ate delicious snacks-commencing a totally magical L.A. evening. I must say-I’m very lucky to call this exquisite human my mother-in-law. Love You, Seana.
