GRATITUDE & GAYCATION-NYC
This post has no linear logic or cohesive message other than to say-I am so excited you guys!!! I feel like those little British girls who sing “Super Bass” who got to meet Nicki Minaj on Ellen-that’s how excited I am to go to NYC. I have so many close friends to see there, and I love, love, love the city; so this trip is the biggest blessing. On top of all of that, I really needed the vacation, so I just feel very grateful and fortunate.
Flying on an airplane still blows my mind at 28 years of age. I know it shouldn’t. Although I have flown extensively throughout my entire life-it still blows my mind that human beings have created these enormously modern machines that allow us to fly in the air-up in the sky-above the immediate terrain we normally exist in. Plus, I’m on an airplane wireless network, which is so huge for me on a technological level. Using this airplane wireless-is like the first time I used a dial-up internet connection, or the first time my family got a DVD player; I, Edward Hansen, am now existing in the future-and it’s so fly (no pun intended).
Since I’m on an airplane and I’ve already bombarded you guys with so many “flying “metaphors, I’d also like to say that I’m still on “Cloud 9” (ha!) from last night-hosting the Hello Giggles U-Stream with Leslie Grossman, who is literally an ANGEL sent to me from GOD/the Universe/my friend Jim. And I’d also like to thank Sophia and Blaire and Danica-for helping me put this whole thing together. If there is one thing I love talking about-it’s housewives, and Leslie does too, so it’s been an amazing coupling of housewives kindred spirits.
Anyway, New York here I come!
