Hey! I'm Edward. I'm a writer, entrepreneur, and I've got a voice like an angel-please don't be intimidated by me.

Q: You and Molls both have stunning skin. Seriously, you both look amazing and don't even look your age (this I mean in a good complimentary way of coarse) I'm not too sure if you've covered it before but what's your beauty regimen? Spill your secrets so we can all look fabulous like you!

A:

1. THANK YOU, on behalf of both of us, because that is totally a bitching compliment, especially once you start to get up there past the “not so young adult” years. I’m 29, and she’s 28; so I can guarantee the compliment is much appreciated. And we both always joke about how much we’ve aged from 22 to now, so thank you.

2. What’s our regime, you ask? Okay, well, you have to DRINK a TON of alcohol in your early to mid twenties (winding down a little bit in your late twenties, but not too much)! That’s crucial.

You also have to eat a TON of PIZZA and In-N-Out, like just tons of burgers and pizza, since they’re so delicious and in various forms have all the major food groups.

Sporadic exercise is very important too. I’m a big fan of the whole doing cardio a few times/week routine, just not too often.

3. All jokes aside-I am addicted to Kiehl’s. Everything I use is Kiehl’s. When the seasons transition, so do my face washes. I have naturally “combination” skin, so I use a non-oil based wash in the winters, and in the summers-I use something more astringent.

Also, I moisturize a few times per week, but not everyday. I also use an age reversing serum so you guys don’t know that I’m actually 72 years old. Basically, whenever I’m feeling old I just douse my face with this serum; I also have an under-eye cream that I use when I feel like TIME HAS MARCHED ACROSS MY FACE.

I know Molly uses something “more expensive,” but the best advice I can give is STAY OUT OF THE SUN. Neither of us bake in the sun too often; that’s the first, most direct flight to looking prematurely old. We both try to drink lots of water, although she’s way better at it then I am. Coconut water is super hydrating and GREAT for your skin as well.

I’m half Panamanian, so I think that’s contributed to my looking “younger” (SHE GET IT FROM HER MAMA). Also, I have a full face and big cheeks and I think that’s a thing too, so does Molly; we both have that in common.

4. I’m rambling nonsensical advice now. I think we both just have fun and try our best to care of our skin when we can, while staying out of the sun as best as we can. SPF 55 should be in your cabinet (I love Shisheido SPF 55-it’s rich and creamy and doesn’t leave an oily residue). I’d also recommend lots of water and juices, but have fun with it! Don’t take it too seriously. Maybe we look young because we psychologically embrace our youthful sides and that comes across or something?

I don’t know what I’m saying anymore-hope this helps!

xoxo
