Why You Are Single in LA: The Secrets Revealed
First and foremost, I love Richard Rushfield so much for creating this brilliant, tongue-scraping-against-the-side-of-my-tender-emotionally-bruised-cheek (brief) profile of dating in Los Angeles, because it’s alarmingly spot on.
However, “if you are from LA originally, if you are a Native Angeleno, then you just go out with people and its fine and eventually it works or it doesn’t but you do it without talking about what it’s like dating in LA and hopefully manage to avoid everyone in the categories above”-is not this native Angeleno at all.
I talk, I write, I obsess, I emote, and I “cathart” on this very blog for all of you; because I’ve had dated the lowest, downest, dirtiest dogs in the game, and I use this blog to express that. In fact, I think we all have a unifying experience in what it’s like to be human and date in Los Angeles (if you live in Los Angeles) and I hope that resonates with some of you.
